Effective June 30, 2010, the Deutsche Asset Management – New York Attorney General settlement has been completed and is now closed.

Checks presented for payment are no longer being honored. Any attempt to negotiate a check could result in a fee being charged to you by your bank. The Deutsche Asset Management – NYAG Settlement, the Distribution Consultant, Deutsche Asset Management, and the Fund Administrator are not responsible for any banking fees you may incur from your bank.

Retirement Plan Information

According to the Distribution Plan, section 10.5, payments made to Non-IRA Retirement Accounts (401(k), 403 (b), etc.), will be made payable to the account as registered. Non-IRA Retirement Accounts are subsequently required to distribute the monies received in accordance with its fiduciary and contractual obligations, and consistent with the guidance issued by the Department of Labor Field Assistance Bulletin 2006-01.

If the Retirement Plan no longer exists, then please follow the instructions listed below.

Abandoned Plan Affidavit form

This form must be submitted when an individual requests to have an ERISA Plan (401(k), 403(b)) check reissued to their own name. This form will be submitted with the letter of instruction, the correct reissue form (see above), and the IRS Form 5500, which can be obtained from the www.freeerisa.com website.
